Why a Hygiene Drive in Lee County Matters More Than You Think

Lets talk about hygiene. It’s not a luxury; it’s a fundamental need. But in Lee County, many girls lack access to everyday hygiene essentials, like soap, deodorant, menstrual products, and toothpaste. This isn’t a secret, it’s a problem that isn’t being discussed enough.

That’s why we’re initiating a county-wide hygiene drive to support the PACE Center for Girls. They’re on the ground every day, empowering girls with the support and resources they deserve to reach their full potential.

Because at its core, hygiene is more than just cleanliness. It’s about confidence, dignity, and feeling secure as you walk into a classroom or a room full of people, without feeling self-conscious.

When a girl has these basic necessities, it’s a game-changer. It impacts her self-esteem, school attendance, and mental well-being.

This is a call to action for our Lee County community to rally together. We’re collecting new, unopened hygiene products, including:

* Pads and tampons

*Pads and Tampons

* Soap and body wash

*Wet Wipes/Baby Wipes

* Deodorant

* Toothbrushes and toothpaste

* Shampoo/Conditioner/ Body Wash (travel sized)

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. Kindness isn’t always about big gestures; it’s about making a thoughtful choice to pick up a few extra items at the grocery store. It’s about extending care to someone you might never even meet.

We’re driven by this energy. Let’s ensure every girl in Lee County feels valued, supported, and cared for.
